A federal judge has thrown Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis in jail for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
Issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples would violate her strongly held religious conviction that marriage remain between one man and one woman.
Millions of like-minded Americans are rushing to her defense, including Fmr. Arkansas Gov. and 2016 Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee.
In fact, Huckabee is holding a rally on September 8th to protest Davis’ imprisonment on a contempt charge.
Kim Davis should be set free because she has done absolutely nothing wrong. Criminals belong behind bars, not genuine people compelled by moral authority.
